Hidden Heroes

May 10th, 1940. Germany invades Belgium, while in the quaint village of Nazareth, Rosa is helping to run her parents' bakery.

Years pass. Rations shrink. Weariness grows. 

After a call from their uncle, Rosa's family agrees to shelter a Jewish family. They've always been told to help the less fortunate, after all.

In this narrative game based on a real story, you'll run the local bakery in a Belgian village during the German occupation of World War II. Manage your resources in the harsh conditions of war while navigating complex dialogue with your customers. In Hidden Heroes, you will have to choose between self-preservation and helping others. 

There are seven interactable characters in the game, with complex dialogue good for an hour and a half of gameplay on the first playthrough.

With a branching narrative and multiple endings, every decision you make carries real consequences!

Hidden Heroes is available in both Dutch and English. You can choose your preferred language from within the game. Most of the game was originally written in Dutch and later translated into English.

The game can be played using only a mouse.
